Joe
Morgan has been with MMI Hotel Group for more than 29 years. He joined
MMI as a trainee promptly after graduating in 1967 from the University
of Southern Mississippi. Morgan advanced from Restaurant Manager to General
Manager in three successively larger MMI Holiday Inns.In 1971, he was recognized by the Holiday Inn System as the Innkeeper of the Year at the Inn of the Year. In 1972, he was promoted to Vice President-Operations for the Florida/Georgia Division. In 1980, he attended Harvard Business School's "Managing Organizational Effectiveness" course. Morgan is a board member of the Florida Hotel and Motel Association, and has served as Treasurer. He was the 1993 President of the FHMA. Morgan also holds the designation of Certified Hotel Administrator from the American Hotel & Motel Association. <--back to previous page |
